In 2002, the U.S. Army began a multi-year search for a single "universal" camouflage pattern to replace separate woodland and desert uniforms. All-Over Brush — loose, sweeping strokes evoking grass and brush rather than blocky geometric shapes — was one of three finalist patterns to advance past the first round of testing. Its woodland colorway represents the pattern in this earlier form, before later trial phases pushed its desert variant further toward a true universal design.
The pattern that eventually emerged from those later rounds would go on to outscore every other candidate tested — and still lose out to an untested scheme pushed through by Army leadership, which became the widely-criticized Universal Camouflage Pattern. This woodland colorway predates that outcome; it's the visual language the whole program was built on, before the story took its stranger turn.

A note on fit and finish: every piece is cut and printed on demand, so expect natural variation of 1–3 cm between garments, and slight differences between the mockup and the finished pants — fabric behaves differently than a screen.
