Yugoslav M-MDU-03 Karst
The M-MDU-03 uniform was designed for the mountainous karst terrain of Montenegro and Croatia — a landscape of jagged limestone, dense forest, and dramatic elevation. Its distinctive camouflage features light green and dark green fleck-like leaves, with white, black, brown, and dark grey geometrical shapes on a light grey background.
Nicknamed Karst after the limestone formations that define the region, this pattern was issued exclusively to special units of the former SFRJ Yugoslav People's Army (JNA), and later adopted by elite military units of Serbia. It remains one of the rarest and most regionally specific patterns of the Balkan military tradition.
