Developed as a vertical adaptation of the French lizard pattern, Portuguese lizard camouflage was issued to paratroopers by the mid-to-late 1950s and became standard through Portugal's 13-year Overseas War (1961–1974) across Angola, Mozambique, and Guinea-Bissau. The pattern crossed sides in its own conflict — worn by the guerrilla movements fighting Portugal as often as by Portuguese troops themselves — and outlived the war entirely: variants remain in service with elite Portuguese units and Mozambique's Marines to this day.
A zip pullover in 220g/m² poly-cotton-spandex — stand collar, half-zip, regular fit. Breathable double-sided fabric with a cotton-like inner layer; works as a standalone layer or under a shell.
